Special Projects and Brand Activations: What We Build for Events and Spaces

Most of what we print is a product: a banner, a box of business cards, a set of flags. But a good share of our work is not a product at all — it is a project. A store opening. A trade show booth. A gym that wants every wall to look like the brand. A fleet of ten trucks that has to be finished before the season starts.

Those jobs share a problem: several different pieces, printed on different materials, that all have to match each other and all have to be ready on the same date. That is the part we are built for.

Events, booths and trade shows

An activation lives or dies on how it reads from thirty feet away, and then on how fast you can put it up. Our event kit is built around both:

  • Custom printed tents — full-colour dye sublimation on heavy-duty aluminium frames, in 10x10, 20x10 and 20x20, with optional walls, flags and carry bags.
  • Tension fabric displays — the EuroFit line, from narrow 2 ft towers up to a 10x10 ft back wall. Fabric graphics zip off for washing and re-printing, so the hardware outlives the campaign.
  • Pop-up display stands — including a 20 x 8 ft wall for larger footprints.
  • Flags — feather and teardrop flags for the approach, and a 17 ft giant flag when you need to be seen from the parking lot.
  • Counter and table pieces — stretch table covers, and the portable X-frame stand, which is light enough to check as luggage.
  • Outdoor umbrellas — a printed large umbrella for patios, markets and sponsor areas.

The whole event range sits in Display Stands and Canopy Tents and Umbrellas.

Spaces: turning a room into the brand

Wall wraps are the piece clients are most often surprised by, because the material can look like almost anything. We have printed photographic murals, botanical wallpaper, marble and stone finishes, and full-wall graphics for gyms, bike rooms, offices, lobbies and retail floors.

Two things make this work at scale. First, we print in-house on large-format equipment, so a wall is not stitched together from mismatched panels. Second, our own crew installs it — and for wall wraps, installation is included within 40 miles of our Miami shop. We have installed over a million square feet of vinyl, and wall wraps are priced by the square foot, so you can estimate a room before you commit. There is a square-foot calculator on our services page.

More on the process: wall wraps and wallpaper installation.

Fleets and vehicles

A fleet is an activation that drives itself around the city. We have wrapped more than a thousand vehicles — vans, box trucks, trailers and food trucks — and the work is the same discipline as a booth: every unit has to match, and they all have to come back on schedule.

For a fleet, we survey the vehicles and take the panel measurements ourselves, because a template from the manufacturer rarely matches the truck that actually shows up. Details on commercial vehicle wraps.

Why one team matters on a project

On a single product, a subcontractor is an inconvenience. On a project, it is a risk. If the wall goes up Tuesday, the booth ships Wednesday and the trucks are due Friday, every handoff between vendors is somewhere the date can slip — and nobody owns the problem.

We design, print, fabricate and install with our own team. That is not a slogan; it is the reason a multi-piece activation can share one deadline and one point of contact.

How to plan one

A few things that make a project go smoothly:

  • Work backwards from the event date, not forwards from today. Most of our event pieces run three to four business days in production, and that clock starts after you approve the proof.
  • Get us the measurements early — or ask us to take them. We survey sites in South Florida, and for wall and storefront work we take the measurements ourselves.
  • Approve the proof quickly. You get a to-scale digital proof before anything prints, and production waits on your sign-off.
  • Ask about rush. Some jobs can be turned around next-day depending on what it is and how busy the presses are. It is worth asking rather than assuming.
  • Ask about financing if the project is large. It is available for the entire project, not just part of it.

Tell us about the project

The more unusual it is, the more we want to hear it. Send us the date, the place and roughly what you are imagining, and we will come back with a firm quote, a to-scale proof and an install date within one business day.
